We are proud to hold both CEVAS Educational and CEVAS Therapeutic accreditations (Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme).
These nationally recognised marks of quality confirm that our farm meets rigorous standards in safety, educational value, and therapeutic care.
Our educational accreditation demonstrates our ability to deliver curriculum-linked, hands-on learning that engages young people in meaningful, real-world farm tasks.
Our therapeutic accreditation reflects our specialist skills in care farming, ensuring all activities support emotional regulation, healing, and mental wellbeing.
For schools, local authorities, and parents, these accreditations offer confidence and accountability. They confirm that Poppies Farm is a professionally run, safe environment that adheres to best practice in risk management, safeguarding, and animal welfare.
By mastering practical farm tasks such as caring for livestock, maintaining equipment, and working with nature, young people replace “I can’t” with “I can.” They leave each day with pride, achievement, and real-world skills.
We believe every young person has untapped potential, and our mission is to help them uncover it.
At Poppies Farm, every role matters. Becoming part of our “farm family” helps young people feel valued, needed, and connected... combating isolation and promoting emotional stability.
We work in very small groups (typically up to four), creating a low-pressure, supportive atmosphere where every young person feels heard, respected, and safe to grow at their own pace.

Our native British breeds, including sheep, cows, pigs, and ponies, play a vital role in our therapeutic approach. Through gentle, mindful interactions with our animals and the natural environment, young people build resilience, trust, empathy, and confidence.
At Poppies Farm, they discover the inner strength they need to face the world with renewed purpose and self-belief.
